Since CH3OH is a weak nucleophile and there is no heating given that means we will have and SN-1 reaction taking place and your CH3OH is a polar protic solvent. Hence a carbocation would be formed first then rearrangement would take place leading to more substituted carbon. Then -OCH3 will come and attach to the carbocation hence forming product in option A.
