Question 54

If 2x + y = 6 and x = 2 are two linear equations, then graph of two equations meet a point :

Equations : $$2x + y = 6$$ and $$x = 2$$

For the two equations to meet, we need to put $$x = 2$$ in (i) equation

=> $$2(2) + y = 6$$

=> $$y = 6 - 4 = 2$$

$$\therefore$$ The two equations will meet at = $$(2,2)$$
