Given that the lengths of the paths of a ball thrown with different speeds by two boysare the same, and that the average speed for the first and second throwsare respectively 90km/h and 162 km/h, then what is the time taken by thefirst throw to coverthe length if the same for the second thrown is one second ?
We know that length = $$Speed \times time$$
For same length
$$S1\times T1=S2\times T2$$
$$90\times\frac{5}{18} \times T1=162\times\frac{5}{18}\times1$$
$$ multiplied  by  \frac{5}{18}  to  convert  in   m/sec $$
$$25Â \times T1=45$$
$$T1=\frac{45}{25}=\frac{9}{5} sec$$
