In each of the following questions there are two blanks marked I & II. The words to fill in these blanks are given against I as (A, B, C, D) and II as (P, Q, R, S) RESPECTIVELY. The right words to fill in these blanks are given as four alternatives. The words on either side of the sign (::) have a similar relationship. That alternative which signifies this relationship is your answer.

Going by the options, Option A will give Modern: Ancient:: Young: Old, which seems okay, because of the antonym pairs used for analogy.
Option B gives us, Modern: Ancient:: Western:Old. Here, Western and Old seems an absurd pair and not related as Modern and Ancient. Therefore, we eliminate this.
Option C is vague as it gives out of context pairs in the form of Modern: Death:: Industrialisation: Old.
Option D can also be eliminated as Modern: Famous:: Fashion: Old makes no sense.
Hence, option A is the final answer.
