CAT 2002 Question Paper Question 47

Question 47

If pqr = 1, the value of the expression $$1/(1+p+q^{-1}) + 1/(1+q+r^{-1}) + 1/(1+r+p^{-1})$$

Solution

Let p = q = r = 1

So, the value of the expression becomes 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 = 1

If we substitute these values, options a), b) and d) do not satisfy.
