A's age : B's age is 4 : 3. After 6 years, A will be 26 years. What is B's present age?

Solution

$$\frac{A}{B}$$ = $$\frac{4x}{3x}$$

After 6 years

A + 6 = 26 years

A = 20 years

$$\frac{A}{B}$$ = $$\frac{4}{3}$$

$$\frac{20}{B}$$ = $$\frac{4}{3}$$

B = 15years
