A number when divided by 10, 9 and 8 separately leaves remainders 9, 8 and 7 respectively. What is the least of such numbers?

Solution

NUMBER = LCM OF 10 9 8 - k , k =10-9, k=9-8, k=8-7, so here k=1

=360-1=359
