Question 43

The ages of A, B and C are in the ratio 2 : 3 : 4. The sum of their ages is 108. What will be the ratio of their ages twelve years hence ?

Solution

Let say, ages of A,B and C are 2x, 3x and 4x.

So, (2x+3x+4x)=108.

or, x=108/9=12.

So, their ages are 24,36 and 48.

So, ages of their ratio after 12 years

= 36:48:60=3:4:5.

D is correct choice.
