Six persons, L, M, N, P, Q and R, are sitting in a row facing towards the north (not necessarily in the same order). There are three persons between P and M. P is not at any of the ends. There are three persons between L and Q. N is to the left of R. L is at one of the ends. M is to the right of P. How many person are sitting to the left of N?

Step 1 : There are three persons between P and M. P is not at any of the ends.M is to the right of P.

Step 2 :  L is at one of the ends.

Step 3 : There are three persons between L and Q

Step 4 : N is to the left of R. 

Thus 2 persons are sitting to the left of N
