Krish is 5 years younger than Parthiv. Eight years ago three times the age of Krish was 10 more than twice the age of Parthiv. Find Krish's present age.

Solution

Let the age of Parthiv be x years then age of Krrish will be (x-5) years

According to the qusetion,

2(x-8)+10=3(x-5-8)

2x-16+10=3x-39

-x=-33

x= 33

Hence age of Krrish = 33 - 5 = 28 years.
