Solution

Number of horror novels published by company B in May = 110

=> Number of horror novels published by company B in June = $$\frac{110}{100} \times 110$$

= 121

Number of horror novels published by company D in May = 80

=> Number of horror novels published by company D in June = $$\frac{105}{100} \times 80$$

= 84

$$\therefore$$ Total number of horror novels published by companies B and D together in June = 121 + 84

= 205
