A common emitter amplifier circuit is shown in the figure below. For the transistor used in the circuit the current amplification factor, $$\beta_{dc} = 100$$ Other parameters are mentioned in the figure.

We find that :

$$V_{BE} = +18.2 V, V_{BC} = -3.45 V$$ and amplifier is working

B

$$V_{BE} = +18.5 V, V_{BC} = +2.85 V$$ and amplifier is not working

C

$$V_{BE} = +20.7 V, V_{BC} = +3.75 V$$ and amplifier is not working

D

$$V_{BE} = +21.5 V, V_{BC} = -2.75 V$$ and amplifier is working
