Question 4

The position vector of a particle related to time $$t$$ is given by $$\vec{r} = (10t\hat{i} + 15t^2\hat{j} + 7\hat{k})$$ m. The direction of net force experienced by the particle is :

$$\vec{r} = 10t\hat{i} + 15t^2\hat{j} + 7\hat{k}$$

Velocity: $$\vec{v} = \frac{d\vec{r}}{dt} = 10\hat{i} + 30t\hat{j}$$

Acceleration: $$\vec{a} = \frac{d\vec{v}}{dt} = 30\hat{j}$$

Since $$\vec{F} = m\vec{a}$$, the force is along the positive y-axis direction ($$30m\hat{j}$$).

The direction of net force is along the positive y-axis.
