Six laptops, N, Q, P, L, R and A, are placed in a row facing towards the north (not necessarily in the same order). N is placed to the immediate left of A. R is placed second to the left of Q. P is placed second to the right of A. P is placed to the immediate right of R. L is placed to the left of N. Which laptop is placed to the immediate right of L?

Solution

N is placed to the immediate left of A. P is placed second to the right of A, => Order is : N A _ P

P is placed to the immediate right of R. R is placed second to the left of Q, => N A R P Q

Now, 2 cases are possible :

Also, L is placed to the left of N, thus second case is not possible. Hence, final arrangement is :

=> Laptop N is placed to the immediate right of L.

=> Ans - (A)
