Solution

The numerical position of the alphabets are added and the result is multiplied by 3.

PUNISHED = $$(16 + 21 + 14 + 9 + 19 + 8 + 5 + 4)\times3=96\times3=288$$

TAILOR = $$(20+1+9+12+15+18)\times3=75\times3=225$$

RELEASED = $$(18+5+12+5+1+19+5+4)\times3=69\times3=207$$
