If 1/$$4^{th}$$ of the wall is painted blue, 1/2 is painted yellow and remaining 3 m is painted white, what is the length of the wall?

Let the length of the wall be x

According to the question,

$$x-\left(\frac{x}{4}+\frac{x}{2}\right)=3$$

$$x-\frac{6x}{8}=3$$

$$\frac{2x}{8}=3$$

x = 12
