Simplify: $$ \frac{9 (3 - 5) - 5(4) \div 10}{-3 (5) - 2 \times 4 \div 2} $$

Solution

$$ \frac{9 (3 - 5) - 5(4) \div 10}{-3 (5) - 2 \times 4 \div 2} $$

$$ \frac{9 \times -2 - 20 \div 10}{-15 - 2 \times 4 \div 2} $$

$$ \frac{-18-2}{-15-4} =\frac{-20}{-19} = \frac{20}{19} $$
