The logic here is

$$12\left(15-2\right)=12\left(13\right)=156$$

$$17\left(21-2\right)=17\left(19\right)=323$$

Let the required number = a

Similarly, using the same logic

$$25\left(a-2\right)=525$$

$$\Rightarrow$$ $$a-2=21$$

$$\Rightarrow$$ $$a=23$$

$$\therefore\ $$The required number = 23
