Solution

$$=25 - \frac{1}{2}\left\{5 + 4 - (3 + 2 - 1 + 3)\right\} $$

$$=25 - \frac{1}{2}\left\{9 - (7)\right\} $$

$$=25 - \frac{1}{2}\left\{2\right\} $$

$$=25 - 1 $$

$$=24 $$
