Let the first number be 5x
So, the second number be 6x

Added 6 to each then

$$\frac{5x+6}{6x+6}=\frac{7}{8}$$

$$\frac{5x+6}{3x+3}=\frac{7}{4}$$

$$20x+24=21x+21$$

$$x=3$$

first number be 5x=15

second number be 6x=18
