Question 34

If 74 % 36 = 2, 29 % 61 = 4 and 19 % 26 = 2 then find the value of 48 % 25 = ?

Solution

Given, 74 % 36 = 2, 29 % 61 = 4 and 19 % 26 = 2

The logic here is

$$\left(7+4\right)-\left(3+6\right)=2$$

$$\left(2+9\right)-\left(6+1\right)=4$$

$$\left(1+9\right)-\left(2+6\right)=2$$

The coded value is equal to the difference of sum of the digits of the numbers.

Similarly,

$$\left(4+8\right)-\left(2+5\right)=5$$

$$\therefore\ $$The value of 48 % 25 = 5

Hence, the correct answer is Option C
