Find the LCM of $$\frac{2}{3}$$ and $$\frac{6}{7}$$.

Solution

$$\frac{2}{3}$$ and $$\frac{6}{7}$$

take the lcm of 2,6 by taking factorization

2=2

6=$$2\times 3$$

by taking common 

lcm=$$2\times 3$$ =6

denominator is calculated by hcf method

3 = $$3$$

7 = $$7$$

select the highest common factor = 1

lcm = $$\frac{lcm}{hcf}$$

$$\frac{6}{1}$$
