In a school 10% of boys is equal to $$ \frac {1}{4} $$ th of the number of girls. What is the ratio of the boys and girls in that school ?

Solution

10% of the boys = 1/4 of the number of girls.

So b/10 = g/4

b/g = 10/4 = 5/2
