Solution

Let say, x =$$0.\overline{8}.$$

So, $$10x=8+0.\overline{8}=8+x.$$

or,$$9x=8.$$

or,$$x=\frac{8}{9}.$$

So, $$0.1\overline{8}=0.10+\frac{8}{90}=\frac{1}{10}+\frac{8}{90}=\frac{9+8}{90}=\frac{17}{90}.$$

A is correct choice.
