Question 25

Simplify the following expression:
$$(\frac{2}{3} \times \frac{1}{6}) + (\frac{2}{3} \times \frac{7}{2}) - (\frac{13}{4} \times \frac{4}{3}) = ?$$

Solution

$$(\frac{2}{3} \times \frac{1}{6}) + (\frac{2}{3} \times \frac{7}{2}) - (\frac{13}{4} \times \frac{4}{3})$$

$$=(\frac{1}{9}) + (\frac{7}{3}) - (\frac{13}{3})$$

$$=\frac{1+21-39}{9}$$

$$=\frac{-17}{9}$$

Option B is correct.
