Question 25

In a certain code language, "SIN" is written as "43" and "PEN" is written as "36". How is "TIP" written in that code language?

Solution

"SIN" is written as "43"

The pattern followed is that if we number the alphabets sequentially, i.e. A=1, B=2, C=3 and so on.

Also, '1' is added to the sum of the numbers.

Eg :- SIN $$\equiv(19+9+14)+1=43$$

and PEN $$\equiv(16+5+14)+1=36$$

Similarly, TIP $$\equiv(20+9+16)+1=46$$

=> Ans - (B)
