The curved surface area and the diameter of a right circular cylinder are $$352 cm^2$$ and 14 cm respectively.Find its height (in cm).
Solution
Let height of cylinder = $$h$$ cm and radius, $$r=7$$ cm
Curved surface area = $$2\pi r h=352$$
=> $$2\times\frac{22}{7}\times7\times h=352$$
=> $$44h=352$$
=> $$h=\frac{352}{44}=8$$ cm
=> Ans - (B)
