Solving second equation ,
P + 16 = $$\frac{150}{100} \times (R + 16)$$
P + 16 = $$\frac{3}{2}R + 24$$
P = $$\frac{3R}{2} + 8$$ ------------(3)
Now , equate (1) and (3),
$$\frac{3R}{2} + 8$$ = 3R -7
R = 10
Putting the value of R in (1) ,
P = 30 -7 = 23
