Quantitiy of milk = $$\frac{3}{5}\times 50 = 30$$

Quantitiy of water = $$\frac{2}{5}\times 20 = 20$$

To make the mixture equal, let x be water added

$$\frac{30}{20+x}= \frac{1}{1}$$

$$30=20+x$$

$$x = 10 ltrs$$
