If a mirror is placed on the line XY, then which of the answer figures is the right image of the given figure?

Solution

A vertical mirror is placed, so the object on the left will appear right in reverse position and vice-versa.

So the 'Z' at top right will be reversed and will now be at top left, thus the second and third options will be eliminated.

Also, 'D' will appear at bottom right, hence first option is the right image.
