What is the ratio between the number of male employees and female employees in country II?

Solution

Employees in country II :

Males = $$\frac{10}{100}$$ * 56000 = 5600

Females = $$\frac{12}{100}$$ * 86000 - 5600

= 10320 - 5600 = 4720

=> Required ratio = 5600 : 4720 = 70 : 59
