What should come in place of the question mark (?) in the following questions?

$$\sqrt{?}-5=\sqrt{2209}$$

Solution

Let the number to be used in place of the question mark be equal to '$$x$$'

Hence, $$\sqrt{x} - 5 = \sqrt{2209}$$

$$\sqrt{2209} = 47$$

So, $$\sqrt{x} - 5 = 47$$

So, $$\sqrt{x} = 52$$

Hence, $$x = 52^2$$
