Which two numbers should be interchanged in the following equation to make it correct?
$$731 \div 13 + 450 - 25 \times 43 = 142$$

Solution

If we interchange the position of 13 and 43 then we get,

731 ÷ 43 + 450 - 25 × 13

= 17 + 450 - 325

=467 - 325

=142
