Solution

Let Vedit is at point A initially facing the east. He turns right and walks for 50 m southwards, then he again turns right and walks for 25 m towards west to reach C, then walks 10 m to the north and from D, 20 m to the east and finally stop at point E.

Thus, he is south-west of his original position.
