Let Manish starts from point A and moved 25 km south east to reach point C, then he turned west and travelled 7 km and finally stopped at point B.

=> $$(AB)^2=(AC)^2-(BC)^2$$
=> $$(AB)^2=(25)^2-(7)^2$$
=> $$(AB)^2=625-49=576$$
=> $$AB=\sqrt{576}=24$$ km
