Question 19

Three friends A, B and C have different amounts of rupees with them. If A takes ₹10 from B, then A will have ₹4 less than C. A and C together have total ₹330. How many rupees does C have ?

A + C=330

Now, If A takes Rs. 10 from B then A has RS. (A+10) with him.

A+10=C-4

=> A-C= -14

And we know that A+C=330

Solving these two equation we get,

2A = 330-14

A= 158.

Then, C= 330-158

=172.
