Let no. of girls in the town be 'x'.
Let no. of boys in the town be 'y'.
According to question,
$$\frac{x}{y}=0.9$$.
$$x+y=190$$.
Solving above 2 equations,
We get,$$ x=90, y=100$$.
Therefore no. of girls in the town=90.
