The measure of the central angle of the sector representing the number of elephants in Sanctuary D is ________ degrees.
Solution
Number of elephants in Sanctuary DÂ = 400
Total number of elephants in these sanctuaries
= 600 + 350 + 900 + 400 + 750 + 400 + 600 = 4000
=> Required central angle = $$\frac{400}{4000}\times360^\circ$$
= $$\frac{360^\circ}{10}=36^\circ$$
