Let the radius of the circle be $$r$$
$$2\pi r$$ = 264 cm

$$r$$=$$\frac{264\times7}{2\times22}$$

$$r$$=$$42 cm$$

$$\pi r^{2}$$ = $$\frac{22}{7} \times 42^{2}$$

Area of the circle =$$5544 sq.cm$$
