If 33+ 45= 30, 90+ 26= 40, then 30 + 45 = ?

Solution

The sum of digits of the number will be multiplied by 5.

Eg = 33 + 45 = $$3+3+4+5=15$$ ; $$1+5=6$$ ; $$6\times5=30$$

and 90 + 26 = $$9+0+2+6=17$$ ; $$1+7=8$$ ; $$8\times5=40$$

Similarly, 30 + 45 = $$3+0+4+5=12$$ ; $$1+2=3$$ ; $$3\times5=15$$
