(I) P secured one-third marks of the total of Q, R and S.
(II) Average marks obtained by Q and R are 20 more than that secured by S.

Solution

From statement 1, 3p = q + r + s

we know that p + q + r + s = 360

=>p + 3p = 360

=> p = 90

Statement 2 gives no relation of p with q, r and s.

$$\therefore\ $$ Statement I alone is sufficient to answer the question.
