Question 178

If 55 + 66 = 33 and 22 + 99 = 33, what is 44 + 88 ?

Solution

Divide each term by 11.
$$\frac{55}{11}$$ + $$\frac{66}{11}$$ = 5 + 6 =11 . Multiply this with 3 , we get 33.
So , $$\frac{44}{11}$$ + $$\frac{88}{11}$$ = 4 + 8 = 12 .
12 * 3 = 36.
