To attend an exam, Sudhir reached the school by travelling 5 km towards South, and after a sharp left turn, he travelled for about 10 km. He again made a sharp left turn and reached in front of the school by travelling 5 km more. Which direction is Sudhir's starting point from the school?
Solution
Let Sudhir started from point A and travelled 5 km towards south and reached B, then he turned left and travelled east for 10 km till he reache d point C. He again turned left and travelled north for 5 km and finally stopped at point D.
Thus, his starting position is to the west of his final position.
