Solution
Employees working in Chennai = $$\frac{12}{100} \times 1800$$ = 216
Transferred employees = $$\frac{2}{9} \times 216$$ = 48
=> Total employees in Patna
= $$(\frac{8}{100} \times 1800) + 48$$
= $$144 + 48 = 192$$
