What is the difference between the average number of computers manufactured by all the companies together and the average number of computers sold by all the companies together ?
Solution
Total number of computers manufactured by all the companies together
= 10 + 15 + 7.5 + 22.5 + 30 = 85 lakhs
Total number of computers sold by all the companies together
= 7.5 + 12.5 + 5 + 17.5 + 25 = 67.5 lakhs
Difference = 85 - 67.5 = 17.5 lakhs
=> Required average = $$\frac{17,50,000}{5} = 3,50,000$$
