Solution

Number of C type tyres manufactured in 1993 (in lakhs) = 25

Number of C type tyres manufactured in 1994 (in lakhs) = 22.5

=> Required % drop = $$\frac{(25 - 22.5)}{25} \times 100$$

= $$2.5 \times 4 = 10 \%$$
