Solution
The number of employees in the Marketing department = 1400 $$\times \frac{86.4}{360} = 336$$
The number of employees in the IT department = 1400 $$\times \frac{72}{360} = 280$$
Required percentage = $$\frac{\text{employees in the Marketing department - employees in the IT department}}{\text{employees in the IT department}} \times 100$$
= $$\frac{336 - 280}{280} \times 100$$ = 20%
