The exports of type A cars in 2016 are what percentage less than the total exports of type B cars in 2014 and 2015?
Solution
Total exports of the type-A car in 2016=340 million
Total exports of a type-B car in 2014 $$=280 $$million
Total exports of a type-B car in 2015 $$=320$$million
Hence,the required percentage $$=\dfrac{(320+280-340)\times 100}{320+280}=\dfrac{260\times 100}{600}=43\dfrac{1}{3}$$
