Question 144

The surface are of sphere is $$616 cm^2$$. The volume of the sphere would be:

Let radius of sphere = $$r$$ cm

Surface area = $$4\pi r^2=616$$

=> $$4\times\frac{22}{7}r^2=616$$

=> $$r^2=616\times\frac{7}{88}=49$$

=> $$r=\sqrt{49}=7$$ cm

$$\therefore$$ Volume = $$\frac{4}{3}\times\pi r^3$$

=> $$\frac{4}{3}\times\frac{22}{7}\times(7)^3$$

= $$\frac{4}{3}\times22\times49=1437\frac{1}{3}$$ $$cm^3$$

=> Ans - (C)
