P is the smallest number which leaves a remainder of 3 in each case when divided by 4,5,6 and 8. What is the remainder when P is divided by 9 ?

Solution

P will be in the form of LCM of n(4,5,6,8)+3
LCM of 4,5,6 and 8 is 120
Therefore required number is 120+3=123
When 123 is divided by 9 remainder is 6
